A client of ours is looking for a Digital Sales Head;

Key Challenges for the role are as follows:

  • Keeping pace with technological changes and building new capabilities internally is in line with the expectations of the distribution sub-segment.
  • To coordinate with multiple internal teams and ensure alignment, timely and seamless digital products delivery.
  • Constant innovation in Customer Onboarding, thereby building seamless user journey / personas.
  • Constant improvement in the process of KYC before customer onboarding, managing increased regulatory requirements of customer data.
  • To keep abreast with technology trends, and regulatory changes and be a proactive first mover in identifying the technologies across digital offerings.
  • To execute a product campaign/ activity/ process for high level of customer engagement across channels with uniformity of customer experience
  • To balance client's profitability and channel partner income considerations while taking decisions on pricing within certain ranges and investing in campaigns/ activities to promote brand recall.
  • To ensure Simple, clear and transparent communication in line with Regulatory & brand guidelines across Social & Digital Platforms
  • Cost Efficiency in the ever increasing cost of services from Google & Facebook like of Interfaces.

Role Responsibility:

Digital Sales and Alliances Development

  • Directly responsible to drive Sales through Digital Distributors (Focused Distribution Partners selling Mutual Fund through their Web or Mobile Applications) there by maintaining high market share and contributing to company customer Acquisition & Growth in Purchase count.
  • Directly responsible in driving sales numbers across Digital Assets on both platforms of Web & Mobile.
  • Work towards launches of new Digital Products and interfaces in tune with market demand and customer preference.
  • Identify new platforms through which clients's product portfolio can be introduced to the market and relevant customer segments. Identify distribution entities in each of the segments of Digital Sales which includes Payment banks, wallet-driven channels, e-commerce portals, online MF distribution websites and mobile apps.
  • Initiate dialogues on partnerships and deliverables with potential channel partners on how to increase distribution reach of client'sproducts with strategic alliances likes of PayRoll Processing agencies, Travel/ Holiday management companies etc.

To onboard new to Digital business kind of distributors

  • Identify and connect with IFAs and NDs who are doing offline business but interested in scaling the business through digital medium.
  • Drive Existing Sales Teams for achieving the goal of Digitalization of Existing Distribution Channel. There by increasing the count of Digital Activation of Existing Distribution through inhouse Applications.
  • Alliances with existing National Distributors for API integrations for direct process of transactions there by faster & smoother execution of transaction for higher volume and increasing affinity with partners.

Creative Planning (Brand + Performance) & Digital Research (Consumer + Brand)

  • Strategizing Social Communication viz a viz Interfaces like Facebook, , Twitter & Instagram.
  • Prioritizing and ensuring timely flow of communication for top and mid funnel of customer journey
  • Ensuring the right full content creation across buckets (campaign, situational, topical, seasonal, regulatory, user generated)
  • Driving the budget allocation to the Vendors & optimum utilisation of the SOW required for the business

Social Listening + Online Reputation Management (ORM)

  • Reviewing reports for content performance vs spends and maintenance of trackers for published content.
  • Ensuring constant monitoring of customer feedback and direct mentions of our brand and industry on social media.
  • Competition Benchmark analysis in terms of their platform growth, keywords, topics, engagement, and traction hike/decline to identify missing/growth opportunities & suggest recommendations.
  • Analysing brand social insights based on both past and real time data to optimize communication strategies for each social channel

Digital Campaign Management & SEO Management

Media Management

  • Timely execution of digital media campaigns
  • Create and execute monthly media plan with defined targets
  • Drive relevant hand raisers to digital assets
  • Improve Website & App traffic

Campaign Tracking & Conversions

  • Source wise campaign conversion tracking to improve lead quality and conversions
  • Campaign performance analysis to optimize digital campaigns and improve efficiencies
  • Optimize campaign journeys with user analytics to improve conversion rate
  • Improve lead and direct transaction conversion

Search Engine Optimisation

  • Improve average time spent on the website landing pages through SEO recommendations.
  • Optimizing all pages to attract search traffic through continuous SEO optimizations (placing Meta tags, canonical tags, internal linking and CTA's accordingly).
  • Competition Benchmark analysis to identify missing/growth opportunities & suggest recommendations.
  • Identifying and improving website crawling and indexing, page speed, user experience & mobile friendliness.
  • Implement various offsite strategies to improve website credibility & visibility in search.
  • Keyword research analysis to optimize content management on website landing pages

Expansion of digital sales network

  • To do strategic tie ups with existing set of distributors for increased sales.
  • To focus on bringing new investors through digital medium.

Stakeholder management and people management

  • Guides and develops team members to facilitate better channel partner engagement, customer acquisition, and more efficient business operations, helping them achieve superior performance
  • Communicates proactively and regularly with team and key internal stakeholders on business goals and plans to ensure that business objectives are understood, cascaded and achieved time to time.
  • Proactively builds and maintains relationships with key internal stakeholders for smooth cross-functional coordination and alignment towards achievement of business objectives.
  • Contribute & Engage with various Digital Functions like Digital Marketing, Technology & Operations to enhance and leverage clients's Digital assets for the end customers and drive transaction, new customers and improve per customer value through Digital.
