We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team at our Mumbai head office situated at Powai. As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and operations of various group companies within the group. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.Key Responsibilities:- Monthly Closures: Lead and manage the monthly and annual financial closure processes for multiple group companies. - Accounts Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. - Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. - Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards. Prepare and file statutory returns and reports as required. - Government Interactions: Liaise with government departments and officials as necessary. Present financial data and reports during audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections. - Financial Analysis: Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts to support management decision-making. - Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions as needed. - Process Improvement: Continuously review accounting processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements. - Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, and operations to achieve organizational goals and objectives.Qualifications and Skills:- 7+ years of professional accounting experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
