Deputy Project Manager: (Electrical)About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Project Manager to support the Project Manager in overseeing and managing complex power distribution projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent organizational skills.Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution:- Assist in developing detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and timelines.- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.- Support in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial accountability.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. Technical Support:- Provide technical support to the project team, addressing technical queries and challenges.- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.- Assist in reviewing technical documents and designs. Stakeholder Management:- Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.- Contribute to effective communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Quality Assurance:- Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.- Participate in quality reviews and audits. Risk Management:- Support in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.- Contribute to the development and implementation of contingency plans.Qualifications and Experience:- 5-8 years of experience in project management within the power distribution industry.- Strong understanding of power distribution systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
