Job Overview :

We are seeking experienced Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Engineers who have hands-on expertise in data discovery, standardization, and executing data quality rules. As a Data Quality Engineer, you will work closely with diverse business teams such as Commercial Cloud, Kroger, EDF APAC, Customer Domain, Procurement, and CDR POD to ensure high-quality data governance standards are maintained across different business units. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and will be able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and implement data quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Quality Rule Execution :

- Utilize Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to perform data discovery, standardization, and execution of data quality rules across different data domains.

- Implement and execute DQ rules to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for multiple business processes (e.g., transactional data, global ATM registration, HR, Sanctions, Addendum, etc.).

Collaboration with Business Teams :

- Work closely with various business teams (Commercial Cloud, Kroger, EDF APAC, Customer Domain, Procurement, CDR POD) to understand specific data quality requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

- Conduct meetings and requirements analysis sessions with stakeholders to align on data quality expectations.

Data Governance :

- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with high data quality standards.

- Work on data profiling to gain insights into source data and help design relevant data quality rules to address issues like duplicates, inconsistencies, or missing data.

Design and Development of DQ Rules :

- Design and implement data quality rules in Informatica Developer, focusing on key domains such as HR, Sanctions, Transaction Data, Corporate Fleet, and more.

- Profile source data to understand metadata characteristics, assisting in designing effective DQ rules.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Work with key stakeholders in the business to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented rules and solutions.

- Provide periodic data quality reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement :

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in data governance and data quality.

- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and assist in the continuous improvement of best practices within the team.

Requirements :

Experience :

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in data quality management and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

- Hands-on experience in data profiling, standardization, and data quality rule development.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), including experience in designing and implementing data quality rules.

- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, such as data profiling, data mappings, transformations, and data standardization techniques.

- Excellent working knowledge of SQL for data validation, transformation, and data profiling tasks.

- Familiarity with various data sources and formats (e.g., transactional data, HR data, financial data).

Collaboration & Communication :

- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various business teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to understand complex data quality requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Domain Knowledge :

- Knowledge or experience in domains like procurement, HR, finance, or corporate fleet data is a plus.

- Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices is an advantage.

Availability :

- Immediate availability for deployment is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with project management tools.

- Familiarity with Mastercard data domains like ATM registration, global transaction data, HR, etc., is an advantage.

- Familiarity with cloud data integration platforms is a plus.
