Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in textile design, specializing in knits and western wear. They must possess a deep understanding of textiles and vendors, with demonstrated negotiation skills and leadership qualities.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and develop innovative textile designs for knits and western wear, adhering to brand aesthetics and market trends.

Collaborate with vendors to source materials, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Lead and motivate the design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to optimize costs without compromising quality.

Oversee the production process, ensuring designs are translated accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills:


Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in textile design, specializing in knits and western wear.

Strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and production processes.

Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost optimization.

Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:

Annual salary ranging from 3 to 6 lakhs, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
