Overview:

We are seeking a Junior PHP Developer with hands-on experience in Moodle LMS developmentand customization. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working in the EdTech domain, capable of debugging and upgrading Moodle-based systems, and keen to grow technical expertise in PHP and open-source LMS platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, customize, and maintain Moodle-based applications.

● Assist in implementing new plugins, themes, and modules within Moodle.

● Debug and troubleshoot issues in Moodle applications and ensure timely fixes.

● Support Moodle version upgrades, ensuring backward compatibility.

● Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

● Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to development best practices.

● Assist in integration of Moodle with other applications (via APIs/third-party tools).

● Stay updated on Moodle community updates, patches, and security releases.


Education & Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● 1–2 years of proven experience in PHP development with exposure to Moodle LMS.

● Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.

● Knowledge of Moodle architecture, plugins, and customization.

● Experience in debugging and troubleshooting PHP applications.

● Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.

● Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.

● Exposure to REST APIs and LMS integrations is a plus.

● Experience in the EdTech domain will be an added advantage.
