Description :Location : Shillong, Meghalaya, IndiaJob Type : Contract (2 Years, Extendable Based on Performance)Grade : CSS2 | Tier : T3About the Role :Were looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding systems, conducting assessments, managing incident responses, and ensuring compliance with global security standards.Key Responsibilities :- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing- Analyze logs, network traffic, and endpoint telemetry for threat detection- Assist in incident response, forensic analysis, and post-incident reporting- Advise clients on compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and related frameworks- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls- Support risk assessments and business impact analyses- Prepare technical documentation, audit reports, and executive summariesQualification Criteria :- Education : BE / B.Tech / MCA in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field- Certifications (Preferred) : CISA / CEH / ISO 27001- Proven experience in security assessments, incident response, and compliance- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and cybersecurity frameworks- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyIf youre passionate about cybersecurity and ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role wed love to hear from you (ref:hirist.tech)
