Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and confident Brand Journalist to join our team. This role requires a natural storyteller with exceptional content creation skills who can also confidently appear on camera and assist in creating engaging multimedia content. The ideal candidate will act as the voice of the brand, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and style across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation and Storytelling
  • Develop and execute compelling brand stories through blogs, articles, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Assist in scripting, planning, and producing multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, and photo stories.
  • Craft narratives that resonate with the target audience, reflecting the brand's values and mission.
  1. On-Camera Representation
  • Confidently appear on camera for videos, interviews, and other brand content.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to deliver high-quality, engaging on-camera content.
  1. Brand Voice and Consistency
  • Act as the voice of the brand, ensuring all content aligns with the company’s tone, style, and messaging.
  • Maintain consistency in storytelling across multiple platforms and channels.
  1. Collaboration and Team Support
  • Work closely with marketing, social media, and creative teams to align storytelling efforts with broader marketing strategies.
  • Assist the team in brainstorming and developing new content ideas for campaigns and initiatives.
  1. Research and Development
  • Conduct research and interviews to gather insights and craft authentic stories.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, audience preferences, and digital storytelling techniques.
  1. Content Performance and Refinement
  • Monitor audience engagement and use performance metrics to refine and improve content strategies.
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve audience interaction and brand visibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in journalism, content creation, or a similar role.
  • Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
  • Comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
  • Ability to assist in developing multimedia content like videos, podcasts, and photo stories.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and audience engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in SEO and content optimization for various platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a creative agency or media house.
  • Familiarity with video production and editing tools is a plus
