Role Description: Sr. Developer - K2View Fabric- 3B 


Location: : 


The ideal candidate is a hands-on K2View Developer with experience in developing ETL scripts and Data Warehousing for real-world use cases. They must be at ease working with on-prem Big Data ecosystem in an agile environment with little supervision. The person should be a self-motivated person with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning. 


Role and responsibilities : The Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, management, and support of mission- critical enterprise BI reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments.


Responsibilities :


- Developing architectural solutions utilizing K2View.

- Work with project management to provide effort estimates and timelines.

- Interact with Business and IT team members to move the project forward in every Sprint.

- Lead the development of ETL scripts using K2View.

- Work with Internal stakeholder and development teams during project lifecycle.

Technical skills requirements :

- Analyzing Business requirements and Preparing functional documents and detail design documents.

- Deep knowledge of implementing K2View Mappings based on the requirement by writing functions, translations using SQL/BTEQ scripts.

- Creating Corresponding Maps and Flows for that translation to run and check for any error and load the data into Staging.

- Interacting directly with Product support team (K2View) to fix any K2View Admin bugs by raising case with them.

- Debug the issue's related to Process, Daily Runs and weekly Migration & Data.

- Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Tools :

- ETL Tools: K2View, Informatica 9.x & 10.x, Informatica Cloud

- Scheduling Tools: Control-M, Tidal, Informatica Scheduler, Crontab

Nice-to-have skills :

- Knowledge or experience with Teradata

- Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting skills are a plus.

Qualifications - 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in K2View and Informatica - B.Tech., M.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university We
