Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows, VMware, and PowerShell Architect/Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and architecting Windows Server environments, VMware virtualization, and automation through PowerShell. Additionally, expertise in storage management, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Zerto Disaster Recovery solutions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Architect and manage VMware virtual infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication and Zerto.
- Administer and optimize storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and DAS.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks across Windows, VMware, and storage environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across Windows, VMware, and storage infrastructures.
- Ensure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and support disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Strong understanding of storage solutions, including provisioning, management, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and Zerto disaster recovery solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of network services management (DNS, DHCP, IP management).
- Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards like NIST or HIPAA.
