Job Description: The Workday Architect / Manager is responsible for facilitating the future growth of AML RightSource by ensuring optimal configuration and architecture of Workday to support Human Resources, Payroll, Recruitment, Benefits, and other processes and modules used. This role involves owning the overall technical and functional architecture of the Workday platform, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives and operational needs. The Workday Architect / Manager will lead the team of Workday administrators, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable solutions. In this position, you will collaborate closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and the global Workday team to facilitate the gathering and translation of business requirements into effective Workday configurations, maximizing functionality and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency through expert knowledge in configurations and Workday modules. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Workday administration team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence in system management. Collaborate with business leaders, HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations and solutions that align with organizational goals. Own and maintain the overall technical and functional architecture of the Workday platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with strategic business objectives. Partner with the Workday IT Owner and global teams to streamline processes across all AML RightSource locations, leveraging Workday’s capabilities to enhance efficiency. Lead the design and implementation of new features and modules within the Workday ecosystem to expand system capabilities and meet evolving business needs. Oversee system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption, clear communication with all Workday users, and thorough testing to maintain system integrity. Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendor implementations, ensuring successful delivery, seamless integration, and adherence to project timelines and requirements. Oversee the Workday ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently, while researching and addressing complex challenges, including reporting, integrations, and process improvements. Identify and implement automation opportunities within Workday processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads. Support the implementation of data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures to ensure Workday’s reliability and security. Partner with HR Workstream, Technical Workstream, Recruiting, and IT Operations to develop scalable, sustainable solutions that meet cross-functional needs. Provide expert guidance on Workday solutions, ensuring both functional and technical viability and alignment with best practices. Collaborate with business users to maintain and update Workday data, configurations, and functionality to ensure optimal performance. Evaluate and recommend functional and technical solutions to optimize Workday processes, balancing innovation with practicality. Deliver training and mentorship to Workday team members, enhancing their expertise in system configurations, modules, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field Business fluent in English. Minimum of 3 years Leadership Experience. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with at least two Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Recruiting). Current or previous Workday Certification(s). Knowledge of Workday implementation tools and methodologies. Strong understanding of HR processes and data management to support effective Workday implementation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively. Ability to adapt in dynamic environments with a focus on innovation and service excellence. Strong security awareness and commitment to user-friendly solutions. Proven experience managing teams across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
