Our mission is to build technology solutions that simplify the processes Amazon employs to manage its corporate real estate and improve workplace experience. We build services and products that support various GREF domains, including space and occupancy planning, design and construction, employee health and safety, sustainability, facilities maintenance, help desk, and building management systems requiring IoT expertise. We are seeking a passionate Business Intelligence Engineer I to create the next generation of real estate systems and tools. You will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of advanced business intelligence and analytics solutions. You will leverage your strong technical expertise and analytical skills to empower GREF's cross-functional teams with actionable data insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and excels at building highly scalable solutions. They will enjoy learning, implementing new technologies, and will be innovative in implementing them in suitable situations. Come join us in making historyKey job responsibilities •Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance BI architectures and data models to address GREF's business intelligence requirements •Build visually engaging, interactive dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights to GREF stakeholders using Amazon QuickSight •Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business partners to define and deliver impactful BI solutions that drive value for the GREF organization •Diving deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages •Troubleshoot data, analyses, and code, research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions •Continually evaluate and recommend new BI tools and technologies to enhance GREF's analytical capabilitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared) - Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree - Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design - Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysisOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
