We have over 300 employees worldwide who all contribute to our vision to provide market-leading automotive solutions to drive efficiencies, seamlessly transforming every customer moment.The CitNOW Group is no ordinary technology company, we live a series of One Team values and this guiding principle forms the foundation of CitNOW Group’s award winning, collaborative and inclusive culture.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team based remotely in India to play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure solutions that power our applications and services.In this role, you will collaborate with Software Developers, System Operators and other IT teams to automate and streamline operations and processes, build and manage infrastructure using AWS services, ensure the reliability and security of our systems and handle complex deployments across multiple environments.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Key responsibilities include:Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.Cloud Infrastructure Management: Build, monitor, and manage AWS resources including but not limited to VPCs, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Security Groups, Load Balancers (ALB/ELB), WAF and data services.Security & Compliance: Ensure that AWS environments adhere to best practices for security, including the management of IAM roles, security groups, encryption and AWS WAF.Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.Monitoring & Optimisation: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools. Identify areas for performance tuning and cost optimisation.Serverless Architecture: Manage and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, integrating services like SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.Networking: Configure and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, and security groups to ensure secure and efficient network operations.Backup & Recovery: Design and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions for critical infrastructure components like RDS, S3, and EC2.Collaboration: Work closely with software development and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure that meets business needs.Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, architecture, and processes, and provide regular status updates and reports.We are looking for:Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Security Groups, Load Balancers, WAF, and Lambda.Proficiency in Terraform for automating infrastructure deployment and management.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Solid understanding of networking principles in cloud environments (VPC, VPN, subnets, routing, security groups).Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party solutions like New Relic.Understanding of serverless architectures and experience deploying and managing AWS Lambda functions.A Strong grasp of IAM roles and security best practices, including multi-factor authentication, least privilege access, and encryption.Experience with SQS, SNS, and other messaging and event-driven services.Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and resolve bottlenecks efficiently.Experience in scripting and automating infrastructure tasks using Bash, Python, or other languages.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams, including Software Engineers, System Administrators and Security teams.In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package is second to none.
