Description :Job Title :PLM Database Specialist Cloud OperationsAbout the Role :We are looking for a PLM Database Specialist to join our Cloud Operations team, supporting enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications hosted across AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware data centers. You will ensure our PLM databases are secure, highly available, and optimized for performance, working closely with application and cloud teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.Key Responsibilities :- Administer and optimize PLM application databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, replication, and backup/restore issues.- Support PLM application releases, upgrades, and migrations.- Automate database maintenance and monitoring tasks.- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with application, cloud, and DevOps teams for smooth operations.- Optimize query performance, indexes, and execution plans to meet PLM application SLAs.- Proactively monitor and tune SQL Server for performance bottlenecks and locking/blocking issues.Requirements :- 8+ years of database administration experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, & Oracle,- Knowledge of PLM platforms is an added advantage.- Strong SQL skills and performance tuning expertise.- Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL).- Familiarity with HA, DR, and ITIL processes.- Good problem-solving skills.Nice to Have :- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).- Experience in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).- Exposure to DevSecOps and database monitoring tools (Datadog, Nagios, Dynatrace).
