AWS Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, including S3, Glue, DMS, and Redshift. They will also have experience with data pipeline frameworks using PySpark and AWS, as well as SQL and ETL skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using PySpark and AWS.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience as an AWS Data Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including S3, Glue, DMS, and Redshift.
  • Experience with data pipeline frameworks using PySpark and AWS.
  • Good understanding of Python core concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Airflow for task automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
