At Horizon56, we are developing and implementing innovative software solutions for the oil & gas industry.


You will be part of the IT – Operations department. You will join our team of software and support engineers where your focus will be on improving the security and hosting model of our Azure cloud infrastructure. The team has a flat, low-key, and fun work environment, where you will be able to bring your opinions and skills to life and build your own future. You will be primarily working from Chennai , India through our partner (Greaves Technologies) with teams located across Norway, Denmark, USA and UK.


This is a full-time role for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer located in Chennai. You will be responsible for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), Azure cloud infrastructure and its security. You will ensure the smooth functioning of our digital solutions by designing and implementing the necessary architectures and configurations.


Required Qualifications


  • Strong background in cloud computing and experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Design and implement enterprise security measures in Azure cloud
  • Proficiency in creating and managing cloud infrastructure, serverless computing, and containers.
  • Experience in continuous integration and deployment. Building YAML CI/CD deployment scripts and setting up automated pipelines.
  • Defining and implementing Disaster recovery and business continuity for our cloud solutions.
  • Improve our application hosting model leveraging native cloud services like Azure app service, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service,
  • Azure monitoring, performance optimization and cost optimization
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
