Description:Role: Description: Head Business Finance (Healthcare)Location: Chennai (On-site)Type: Full-TimeThe Head Business Finance will play a critical leadership role in driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth for Iswarya Fertility Centers. This individual will oversee the end-to-end financial management function, including financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, decision support, and regulatory compliance.You will work closely with the executive team, clinical leadership, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data-driven decisions and financial discipline across the organization. The role requires strong healthcare financial acumen, exceptional analytical capability, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategic recommendations.Key Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting- Lead the annual budgeting process across multiple centers, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational requirements.- Develop periodic forecasts (monthly/quarterly) based on performance trends, clinical volumes, revenue drivers, and cost structures.- Build robust financial models to support strategic planning, expansion, and new service line evaluations.Financial Reporting & Analysis- Oversee preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.- Conduct detailed variance analysis for revenue, costs, margins, and profitability at center-level, department-level, and business-unit-level.- Provide actionable insights to leadership to improve operational efficiency, clinical productivity, and financial performance.- Identify risks and opportunities proactively, recommending corrective actions when required.Business Partnering & Strategic Decision Support- Work closely with Business Heads, Operations, HR, and Clinical leadership to support financial decisions with detailed analysis and scenarios.- Evaluate ROI for new investments, technology upgrades, marketing initiatives, and expansion into new geographies.- Partner with operations to optimize cost structures, supply chain efficiency, and resource utilization.- Drive pricing strategies, patient profitability analysis, and service mix optimization.Financial Operations & Controls- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to internal policies.- Oversee billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), cash flow planning, and working capital optimization.- Strengthen internal audit processes and support statutory audits as required.Regulatory & Compliance- Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, statutory norms, taxation guidelines, and industry standards.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes impacting healthcare finance.Leadership & Team Management- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across centers.- Establish a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.- Develop and implement best-in-class financial processes, systems, and automation initiatives.Qualifications & Strong proficiency in managing Financial Statements, MIS reporting, P&L analysis, and overall financial reporting.- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance.- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights.- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage leadership and cross-functional teams.- Demonstrated ability to drive problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking.- Proven experience leading financial Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields (MBA, CA, CMA, CPA preferred).- Prior experience in the healthcare sector, hospital finance, or multi-center operations.- Understanding of healthcare revenue models, patient lifecycle economics, RCM, and operational metrics.- Experience working with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and BI dashboards.
