We’re expanding our US Tech Research Desk and seeking a talented Equity Research Analyst who can combine sharp financial analysis with creative business-development support.Key ResponsibilitiesEquity Research (Core)- Build and maintain detailed financial models for US-listed technology companies (Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, etc.). - Perform industry and competitive analysis using filings, transcripts, and market data. - Draft professional equity research reports including DCF, comps, and sensitivity analyses. - Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Equitec AI) to automate research workflows. - Collaborate with senior analysts in London to ensure report quality and consistency.Business Development Support- Provide research insights and visuals for marketing and email campaigns. - Assist in preparing pitch materials, client decks, and university outreach content. - Support relationship building with finance societies and institutional partners. - Contribute to thought-leadership articles on AI in equity research and market trends.Skills & Requirements- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - 1–3 years of experience in equity research or financial modelling. - Strong command of valuation techniques (DCF, comps, multiples). - Excellent Excel and financial-model-building ability. - Clear written communication and attention to analytical detail. - Familiarity with AI and data-analysis tools. - Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving, global team.Preferred Qualifications- CFA Level I or higher. - Prior coverage of US Tech or global TMT sectors. - Exposure to sales, content, or marketing in financial services.Why Join Us- Collaborate with ex-bankers and research heads from top global firms. - Hybrid exposure: equity research + business development. - Access to next-generation AI-enabled research tools.CompensationCompetitive salary + performance-based bonus.
