We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Frontend Developer with extensive experience in creating immersive and interactive 3D web experiences using Three.js. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for bringing complex visual concepts to life, optimizing performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, visually engaging 3D web applications and interactive experiences using Three.js and related libraries (e.g., React Three Fiber).
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate design wireframes and concepts into functional, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing 3D interfaces.
  • Implement advanced 3D rendering techniques, animations, and visual effects, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
  • Integrate 3D models (GLTF, OBJ, FBX, etc.) into web applications, handling asset optimization, loading, and manipulation.
  • Write clean, well-documented, modular, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Optimize 3D scenes for performance, including efficient memory management, minimizing draw calls, and implementing techniques like culling and level-of-detail (LOD).
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to 3D rendering, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Three.js, WebGL, and broader frontend development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer, with a significant portfolio showcasing interactive 3D projects built with Three.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of Three.js fundamentals, including scene graph, geometries, materials, cameras, lights, animations, and post-processing effects.
  • Solid grasp of WebGL concepts and capabilities, including shaders (GLSL), rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (React is a plus).
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, with a focus on responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Maya) and understanding of 3D asset pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
