Job Details: Senior QA Engineer (Automation + Manual | 12+ Years) Role:Senior QA Engineer Experience:12+ Years Location:Kochi Department:Digital & Architecture Team (DART) Employment Type:Full-timeAbout the Role Softobiz is seeking an experiencedSenior QA Engineerwho brings strong hands-on expertise inboth automation and manual testing . The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing initiatives, define QA best practices, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality releases across cloud-native and enterprise product environments. Key Responsibilities Drivetest planning, test strategy, and QA processesfor complex enterprise applications. Perform bothmanual and automation testingacross functional, regression, performance, and integration scenarios. Build and maintain robustautomation frameworks(UI + API). Review requirements, identify gaps, and proactively highlight risks to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and DevOps to ensure seamless release processes. Owndefect lifecycle managementand ensure accurate tracking and reporting. Mentor junior/mid QA engineers and contribute toprocess maturity and continuous improvement . Technical Skills Required Strong expertise inSelenium / Cypress / Playwright or equivalent . API automation tools —Postman / RestAssured / Karate / Katalon . Good exposure toAzure DevOps / Jenkins / CI–CD pipelines . Hands-on experience withSQL and NoSQL databasesfor validation. Knowledge ofload/performance testing toolslike JMeter or Locust is an added advantage. Good to Have Experience testingcloud-based distributed systems or microservices .
