The Enterprise People Technology team supports the successful deployment and adoption of new People technology across the enterprise. Walmart People Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distinguished Technical Program Manager directly reporting to the Senior Director of TPM. You will be responsible of spearheading some of People Tech’s key projects, managing and leading communication with customers, stakeholders and engineering teams.

Position Responsibilities:


What you will do:

  • This is a vital role with significant growth prospects. You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organization goals. Some of this role key responsibilities are but not limited to
  • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders
  • Track project progress and performance
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation.
  • Communicate project status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts.
  • Develop and implement project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project issues.
  • Technical expertise in AI and GenAI
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide project teams towards successful project completion.
