Job Purpose
We are seeking an exceptionally talented engineer who is ready to relocate to Costa Rica and to join our growing software engineering team with a strong focus on applied AI.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional, distributed teams to design and build scalable, AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges across the organization.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions that enhance productivity and operational Skills
Desired Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of work experience.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
- Solid understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts, with familiarity in working with language models.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and a passion for solving complex, real-world problems.
- Knowledge of vector databases and relevant data structures.
- Working experience with various databases and messaging technologies such as SQL, Redis, and Kafka is a strong plus.
- Expertise in Software Life Cycle management methodologies and tools, including Git and JIRA.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface with the users of the system to understand their use-cases and assist them in making the best use of our tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, distributed teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and define requirements, managing product deliverables through the full development lifecycle.
- Design and develop scalable, AI-driven products that address practical business challenges.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs).
- Provide technical support by diagnosing root causes of issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Continuously enhance platform capabilities by researching best practices and contributing to the product Metrics
- Python or C++ including STL and Boost.
- UNIX/Linux.
- Data Engineering and pipelines, Data Structures and Competencies
- Good communication English (verbal and written), Critical thinking, Attention to detail.
- Experience in managing client stakeholders.
