The Executive - Sourcing and Procurement will be responsible for sourcing materials, products, and services in alignment with company standards. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining supply chain sustainability.


Roles and Responsibilities:


Supplier Identification & Selection:

  • Research and identify potential suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality, and reliability to meet product specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.

Procurement Process Management:

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies related to delivery, quality, or price.
  • Track and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely reordering.

Negotiation & Contract Management:

  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal costs and quality.
  • Manage supplier agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

  • Assist in developing procurement strategies that are aligned with the company’s cost-saving goals.
  • Monitor market trends to forecast pricing and mitigate cost escalations.

Vendor & Relationship Management:

  • Manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery, product quality, and compliance with contract terms.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits and performance evaluations to maintain supplier integrity.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product development, marketing, R&D, and other departments to understand material requirements.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated with import/export regulations, customs duties, and tax implications if applicable.


Primary/ Must have skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within [specific industry].

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of market trends, pricing, and supply chain principles.


Preferred:

  • Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, manufacturing, etc.
