Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities :- Perform the role of scrum master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives- Practices the core Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and practices continuous improvement.- Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives- Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint / release progress- Provide status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery- Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile best practices.- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.- Remove impediments to team progress and drive continuous improvement.- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.- Ensure alignment of Agile processes with organizational goals and project objectives.- Track and manage Agile metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.- Promote Agile adoption and mentor team members on Agile methodologies.- Address and resolve conflicts, fostering a positive and productive work environment.- Ensure the team is focused, engaged, and delivering value Skills & Experience :- 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills.- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) is highly Qualifications :- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused organization.- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.- Work as an agile coach to help train/advise various teams on agile AND CERTIFICATION :- Scrum Master certification (PSM or CSM)- Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field- PMP certification preferably (ref:hirist.tech)
