Data Engineering Consultant

Position: Data Engineering Consultant

Work Location: Navi Mumbai or Kochi

PURPOSE OF ROLE

As a Data Engineering Consultant, you will deliver projects based on Microsoft’s Azure Data Services. This will include developing components, peer-reviewing code and contributing to the Intellectual Property Library.

The function of this role is to be a developer on data projects, working with our Data Engineering, Data Platform and AI/ML delivery teams and our project management office.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
This role requires the following Qualifications.
?Hands-on experience (typically 4+ years) implementing, maintaining, and documenting reliable complex data warehousing /ETL/Business Intelligence environments.
?Designing and Implementing Data Warehouse Solutions using Microsoft Data Services, such as
oMicrosoft SQL Server (both on-premises and Azure)
oMicrosoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) Solutions
?SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
?SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
?SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
oAzure Data Factory
oAzure Data Lake Gen2
?Proficient in T-SQL.
?Proficient in ETL design patterns.
Proficient in data quality concepts, data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment techniques
?Experience with Data Modelling techniques, such as Kimball, Inmon or Data Vault 2.0.
?Develop robust end-to-end data solutions for structured and unstructured data including, but not limited to, ingestion, parsing, integration, auditing, logging, aggregation, normalization, modelling, and error handling.
?Designing and implementing Data Analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
