Role Overview

We are searching for a talented and experienced Database Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of our databases, while also adhering to strict security protocols.


What makes you a great fit?


  • 8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining various databases
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex database systems on AuroraDB and Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for database automation.
  • Optimise database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Implement and manage database security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Develop and implement database automation scripts to streamline operations.
  • Monitor database health and troubleshoot any performance issues.
  • Partner with development teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate database solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest database technologies and best practices.
  • Document database designs, procedures, and configurations.
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
