Senior System Engineer

Job Profile:

We are looking for Senior System Engineer with 5+ years of industry experience and relevant experience in managing server administration. You’ll be enthusiastic with a positive attitude, dedication and willingness to work hard while managing your team effectively.

What we are looking for in you
Strong understanding of server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and services.
Basic understanding of IT security principles, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and access controls.
Proficiency with Active directory, Networking, Firewall fundamentals.
Basic knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control.
Basic knowledge in virtualization and cloud infrastructure
Experience in Ticketing system, Assets management and vendor handling.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and maintain servers to ensure high availability, performance, and security through configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and adherence to best practices for logging, patch management, backup, and documentation.
Provide DevOps support in setting up and maintaining Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with teams to streamline deployments.
Coordinate and lead internal project deployments by preparing IT resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams on implementation and upgrades, and troubleshooting issues for successful execution.
Support and maintain internal networking equipment, assist with network configuration and troubleshooting, and collaborate on implementing security policies and access controls.
Provide technical support for internal users, resolve system and network issues, assist in documenting IT policies, and proactively recommend IT system improvements.
Fluent in English for effective communication and a strong willingness to learn.
