As a Kitchen Leader, your role is to manage and supervise kitchen operations, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

1.    Kitchen Operations:

  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth service.


2.    Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training.
  • Foster teamwork and professional development.


3.    Food Safety and Quality:

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor food handling and storage practices.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain quality control.


4.    Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and control costs.
  • Minimize waste and optimize usage.


5.    Menu Development and Cost Control:

  • Collaborate on menu updates.
  • Monitor food costs and portion sizes.
  • Improve efficiency and reduce waste.


6.    Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Address safety concerns and implement solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
