We are seeking an experienced ELT Developer with a strong background in dbt core, Airbyte OSS, Temporal, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS RDS, and experience with Atlassian Jira Cloud to join our forward-thinking team.


Job Overview:

As an ELT Developer you will design a new system that includes the development and maintenance of robust ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data integration and transformation across our systems. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our data workflows and ensuring our data infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and efficient.



Key Responsibilities:

  • ELT Pipeline Development: Design and manage efficient and scalable ELT pipelines using dbt core and Airbyte OSS to integrate and transform data from various sources.
  • Database Management: Utilize AWS RDS for database management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of data storage solutions.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Implement and manage workflow orchestration using Temporal to ensure reliable and timely execution of data processes.
  • Application Development: Use Node.js and TypeScript to develop and maintain data-related applications and services.
  • Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and document processes. Use Atlassian Jira Cloud for issue tracking and project management.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ELT processes to ensure they run efficiently and handle large volumes of data without issues.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for data-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Best Practices and Compliance: Ensure data practices comply with industry standards and best practices, maintaining data integrity and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency with dbt core for data transformation and modeling.
  • Strong experience with Airbyte OSS for data integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS for database management.
  • Knowledge of Temporal for workflow orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for application development.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira Cloud for project management and issue tracking.


  • Programming Skills:


  • Strong skills in SQL and scripting languages.
  • Python Fluency with a specialization around airbyte, temporal and dbt
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • MERN Stack experience a plus
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to analyze complex data requirements and design efficient solutions.


  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


  • Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in ELT development or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on data integration and transformation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance practices.
  • Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Certifications in AWS or related technologies.


Candidate Profile:

  • Solid grounding in DevOps/SRE principles, with proficiency in at least one or two mentioned technologies.
  • Continuous commitment to learning and professional development.
