Software Engineer Interns

Tecnostac Systems Private Limited, established in 2022, is a dynamic FinTech start-up founded by seasoned professionals with over 30 years of experience in Financial Technology and Global Banking. This extensive experience has enabled Tecnostac to provide innovative solutions to Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) and financial institutions in Africa, helping them gain traction and expand their customer base. Tecnostac Systems offers comprehensive banking solutions for the cooperative sector, including the development of Co-Bank+®, a specialized core banking solution for SACCOs and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in Africa.

We are seeking technical experts to join our development team. We aim to strengthen our team with specialized professionals who can bring their expertise and innovative thinking to our dynamic projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated fresh graduates with a keen interest in coding and technology to join our technical team as Technical Trainees. The ideal candidates will have demonstrated technical knowledge and a specific interest in Java and .NET technologies. While serious project or internship experience is preferred, a strong desire to learn and grow in the field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of core banking applications using Java and .NET technologies.
2. Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
3. Participate in coding, testing, and debugging activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
4. Learn and follow best practices in software development and SDLC methodologies.
5. Provide support for technical issues and help troubleshoot problems as needed.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

1. Fresh graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated technical knowledge and interest in coding, with a specific focus on Java and .NET technologies.
3. Serious project or internship experience is preferred.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
6. Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to professional development.

Preferred Skills:

1. Basic understanding of core banking systems and processes.
2. Exposure to financial systems or projects through academic coursework or internships.
3. Familiarity with SDLC principles and practices.
