Magento Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in Magento 2 development, theme and module development. The role involves working on Magento projects, ensuring robust and scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Magento-based solutions on the Magento 2 platform.
- Implement custom features, extensions, and functionalities based on business requirements
- Optimize website performance and troubleshoot issues related to Magento 2
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise
- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and scalability within the Magento environment
- Perform Magento upgrades, patches, and version migrations as necessary
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure the stability of the platform.
- Work closely with design and UX teams to create seamless user experiences
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers or team member

Requirements

- Strong experience with Magento development, specifically on the Magento 2 version.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Magento themes, modules, and extensions development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of web services, APIs, and integration with third-party systems.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and caching techniques in Magento.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Magento certification(s) would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working on Magento projects, preferably in a Cloud environment.
- Demonstrated portfolio of successful Magento-based projects.
