Senior SAP Ariba Consultant (Contract)

Mode of Work:
-Contract position with a duration of 6 to 8 months.
-Work location is based in Bengaluru, offers flexibility to work remotely for part of the time.
-Role includes international travel as required for client engagements.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Ariba Consultant to join Fingent. The candidate selected must possess hands-on experience of at least two full-cycle Ariba implementation projects and is best familiar with Ariba modules and its surrounds. As a Senior Ariba Consultant, you will be responsible for leading project implementation, providing expert advisory to clients, building and configuring Ariba modules and ensuring successful deployment of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:
-Project Management: Lead and control the full cycle of Ariba implementation projects including requirements definition, documentation, client training and post-go-live support.
-Provide the necessary knowledge and skills across Ariba as an SME for project teams and stakeholders.
-Work with teams across different functions including but not limited to (procurement, IT, finance, etc.) towards the successful implementation of solutions.
-Solution Design & Implementation: Create and set up Ariba business requirements, as defined by the client, through the established modules of sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management, and invoicing.
-Analyze fit and gaps in processes to ensure client business processes are realized by the Ariba solutions.
-Assist designers, developers, and project managers throughout the design, build, and deploy phases.
-Consultation & Client Engagement: Consult with the clients to determine the business requirements and recommend the best practices to maximize the use of the Ariba platform. Advise clients on ways to enhance their procurement processes and integrating systems’ interactions.
-Data Migration & Integration: Manage the process of data migration, data cleansing, data mapping and loading into the Ariba platform. Implement Ariba into existing ERP. systems and other external applications.
-Training & Documentation: Conduct training for users and create training materials for the key users and the end users. Create standard operating documents which include detailed process maps, configuration details, and standard operating tasks.
-Post Go-Live Support: Provide post-go live services and respond to client queries, undertake troubleshooting and resolve issues. Recognize possibilities for system improvement and foster the enhancement of practices.

Skills:
-Experience: Supervised not less than 5 years of company Ariba-centered implementation and consultations. Includes responsibilities on at least 2 full cycle Ariba projects (design, configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance).
-Technical Skills: Detailed knowledge of Ariba modules (Procurement to Pay, Procurement to Order, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Ariba Systems etc.). Experience in deploying integration of Ariba with ERP systems -will be essential. It will be an advantage to understand SAP MM/SRM.
-Soft Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Willingness to act autonomously or as part of a team.

Good to have:
-One or more modules of Ariba Certification.
-Knowledge of different sectors such as manufacturing, retail or services.
-Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Experience:
-6 -7 Years
-2 full-cycle Ariba implementation projects will be considered a minimum.
