The Job / Position Summary?
As a Test Engineer in a product-focused environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. With guidance from experienced team members, you will develop a product-centric approach to testing, focusing on usability, performance, and reliability. This role provides an excellent opportunity for freshers to learn and grow, contributing to the overall success of the product while building your skills in testing complex software applications.

Your responsibilities?

Assist in developing and executing test cases with at least 95% coverage, aligned with product goals and feature requirements.

Gain a solid understanding of the product to anticipate potential user needs and challenges.

Help track and log defects, working with the team to achieve a resolution rate of 90% within 2 weeks.

Support API and performance testing to ensure smooth functionality across product components.

Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to address issues in a timely manner.

Document test results and ensure high test coverage for all new feature releases under guidance from senior engineers.

Learn the basics of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, contributing to scalable testing solutions.

Gain a foundational understanding of non-functional testing processes

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Accountability and a customer-first approach to resolving issues.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage work effectively in a dynamic environment.

A design thinking mindset, with a focus on understanding user needs and improving product quality.

Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or Certified Automation Tester, will be a plus (but not mandatory for freshers).
