Legacy System Modernization Specialist

Lead the transformation of legacy systems (Z/OS, COBOL, DB2) to modern platforms with your expertise in Broadcom Gen tools and modern code practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze legacy Z/OS, COBOL, DB2, and batch programs to understand their functionality and architecture.
- Design and implement modernization strategies to transition systems to modern code platforms and databases while maintaining existing operational functionality.
- Utilize Broadcom Gen tools to target platforms other than Z/OS and DB2, generating efficient and reliable application code for Microsoft server environments.
• Modernize and transition legacy systems.
• Use Broadcom Gen for Microsoft server code.
• Ensure system functionality and alignment with goals.
• Test, validate, and document systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
• Legacy systems modernization experience.
• Proficiency with Broadcom Gen tools, modern code, and databases.
• Strong problem-solving and communication.
Preferred:
•Cloud migration (Azure/AWS).
•DevOps and data migration knowledge.
