As a Software developer at Strands Energy Private Limited, you will be responsible for the analysis, design and development of applications using Big Data, Python, and various other technologies. You will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews.
You would be a key contributor to building efficient programs/ systems and if you think you fit right in to help our clients navigate their next in their digital transformation journey, this is the place for you
In addition, with time, if you are skilled and inclined to take on new technologies you may also get the opportunity to work on other technologies like Java, Angular, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Collaborate with various stakeholders (like Product owners, technical team including CTO) to gather requirements and architect to develop and deliver well-thought-through and tested web application.
•Lead and guide your team towards developing optimized high-quality and scalable code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.
•Analyze the data and plan for better dashboarding / prediction of possible outcomes.
•Recognize the value of Continuous Improvement and work to identify, understand and resolve issues affecting quality and delivery.
•Identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiencies in your daily routine.
•Clearly explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
•Create and maintain product design documents documentations.
•Write clear, easy to follow customer-focused product documents.
•Ability to prioritize and complete Support SLA commitments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Degree in Computer Science (BTech, MTech/MCA/MS/MSc / PHD).
•Strong proficiency in Python and R for data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling [4+].
•Experience designing and implementing data processing pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar frameworks.
•Have experience developing multi-threaded python services.
•Have experience in developing services sharing data with a response time below ~1.5 seconds.
•Have experience in one or multiple Database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.
•Have good problem solving, troubleshooting skills and develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for complex products.
•Good understanding of version controlling tools such as Subversion.
•Basics of business domain to understand the business requirements
•Knowledge and Experience on TDD
•Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with off-shore and on-shore teams /Customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
•Certified in Data analytics.
•Have an experience in Big Data.
•Certification in data science, machine learning, or cloud computing is a plus
•Knowledge of basic electrical concepts would be a plus.
•Having any experience in NoSQL databases would be a plus.
•Proven success in taking initiative, work on multiple projects, and organizing skills.
•Experience in working on Agile with SCRUM is a big plus.
