Support Engineer( Dot Net)

Job Title : Support Engineer( Dot Net)
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Support Engineer with expertise in .NET technologies to join our support team. As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting issues related to our .NET-based software products, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will work closely with customers, developers, and other internal teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
•Troubleshoot and diagnose issues reported by customers related to .NET-based software products.
•Reproduce and investigate reported issues to identify root causes and potential solutions.
•Collaborate with development teams to escalate complex issues and provide input on bug fixes and enhancements.
•Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical concepts and guide them through issue resolution steps.
•Document support cases, including steps taken and resolutions, in a clear and concise manner.
•Continuously improve knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other support resources to empower customers to self-serve.
•Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer issues and feedback to drive product improvements.
Requirements:
•Minimum 2 plus years’ Experience in same field.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably supporting .NET-based software products.
•Domain experience in POS and inventory
•Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
•Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for .NET applications.
•Experience with version control systems such as Git.
•Strong customer service orientation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
•Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer (optional).
