Senior Android OTT Full Stack Engineer

Are you a skilled Android developer with a passion for creating engaging Over-The-Top (OTT) media experiences?

We're seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Android OTT Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing Android applications for our OTT platform. This role combines your expertise in Android development with a passion for streaming media and user experience (UX).

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain native Android applications for our OTT platform.
• Design and implement features that enhance user experience for video streaming, content discovery, playback, and user management.
• Integrate with various back-end services (APIs) for content delivery, user authentication, and personalization.
• Optimize application performance for smooth video playback across various Android devices and network conditions.
• Implement robust DRM (Digital Rights Management) solutions to protect copyrighted content.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality and innovative applications.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in Android development and OTT platforms.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Android developer, with a focus on OTT media applications
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools
• Experience with video streaming protocols and technologies (e.g., HLS, MPEG-DASH)
• Knowledge of DRM (Digital Rights Management) and content protection mechanisms
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience developing native Android applications (2+ years)
• Strong understanding of Android development frameworks (Kotlin preferred) and the Android SDK
• Experience with video playback libraries and technologies (e.g., ExoPlayer)
• Experience with integrating with back-end APIs and data management.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols (e.g., HLS, DASH) is a plus.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles for mobile applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
