SCOM Engineer

We are currently searching for an SCOM Expert to support our biggest client in India.

This is a remote role with travel to client sites when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain the SCOM infrastructure, including management servers, agents, and consoles.
• Develop and implement monitoring strategies and configurations for IT infrastructure, applications, and services, leveraging SCOM's capabilities.
• Create and configure monitoring rules, alerts, and notifications to proactively identify and address system and application issues.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and logs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and potential areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to define and implement monitoring requirements and best practices.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Conduct regular health checks and assessments of the SCOM environment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and troubleshoot SCOM-related issues, including agent deployment, management pack configuration, and alert management.
• Stay up to date with the latest SCOM features, updates, and industry trends to provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
• Provide guidance and support to other IT teams in utilizing SCOM for monitoring and troubleshooting purposes.
• Participate in incident response and problem management processes, contributing to the resolution and prevention of system issues.
