DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our agile team. The successful candidate will collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our applications, from development and test to deployment to production.



Responsibilities


  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.
  • Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes.
  • Improve infrastructure development and application development.


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or similar role); experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.
  • Strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins, Selenium, etc.).
  • Expertise in software development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Python and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Problem-solving attitude.
  • Collaborative team spirit.
  • Experience with systems and IT operations.
  • Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
  • Experience with network, server, and application-status monitoring.
  • Strong grasp of automation tools.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • AWS and Cloudflare experience.
  • Good to have an AWS Solution Architect Associate certification, but it is not mandatory
