About the internship:As an educational counselor specializing in facilitating Indian scholarship opportunities for African students, your primary responsibility is to guide and assist prospective students through the application process, ensuring they understand the requirements, deadlines, and benefits of the program. Additionally, you will handle all registration and paperwork activities related to the scholarship program.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

I. Student Counseling:

1. Provide guidance to African students interested in Indian scholarship programs

2. Conduct personalized sessions to understand academic, career, and financial backgrounds

3. Explain eligibility, application procedures, and deadlines

4. Address queries on applications, Indian institutions, and cultural adaptation

II. Application Management:

1. Assist in the accurate and timely submission of scholarship applications

2. Review materials for compliance with requirements

3. Coordinate with authorities for necessary documentation

4. Maintain detailed records for future reference

III. Paperwork and documentation:

1. Handle all paperwork, including forms, transcripts, and letters

2. Verify the authenticity of documents and ensure their completeness

3. Facilitate visa applications for selected recipients

4. Maintain a centralized repository of documents

IV. Program Promotion and Outreach:

1. Promote Indian scholarships through various channels

2. Develop materials to raise awareness about programs

3. Engage in recruitment events and networking activities

V. Continuous learning and improvement:

1. Stay updated on scholarship policies and educational trends

2. Participate in professional development activities

3. Seek feedback for improving counseling services and processes

4. are from or open to relocate to Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and neighboring cities

Stipend:INR ₹ 4,000-5,000 /month
