About the Role



If you are passionate about merging the realms of data science, software development, and data engineering, then this role is perfect for you. You derive equal excitement from constructing models on a large scale and crafting software that is ready for deployment in the cloud. With a deep understanding of machine learning, you are adept at implementing top-tier software development standards across a team. Responsibilities:

  • Create measurement and planning solutions for publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
  • Provide support for reproducible data science projects from start to finish.
  • Deploy and manage data pipelines and models in a live environment.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to operationalize, validate, and enhance methodologies.
  • Effectively communicate methodology and research findings to diverse audiences.
  • Contribute to researching methodology alterations for cross-platform audience measurement, covering areas like trend analysis, data imputation, bias mitigation, and automation.
  • Ongoing support and advancement of new projects through data exploration, variable identification, data cleansing, dimension reduction, distance calculation, survey integration, and accuracy validation.
  • Tackle quality issues and rectify problems in production code.
  • Thoroughly document new methodologies and code.

Technical Skills:

  • 0-3 years of experience in Python, Spark, and SQL.
  • Degree in data science, statistics, engineering, applied mathematics, operations research, information sciences, or related fields.
  • Proficient in code documentation.
  • Skilled in Git and version control tools like Gitlab.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of statistics and machine learning.
  • Aptitude for manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting extensive datasets.
  • Familiarity with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Spotfire and Tableau.

Business Skills:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with team members, even in remote settings.
