Act as a Software Test Automation Engineer for one or more selected Solution area(s) and key customers.

Perform the Software Automation testing responsibilities from Global R&D across regions and business lines, including 3rd party components and interfaces, for the selected Customer Projects on time and in scope, in close collaboration with Software Validation, Solutions Integration Testing, Devices Validation, Customer Operations, and Solutions Support through Product Management.

The System and Software Test Automation group establishes a customer-centric Automation testing practices for software solutions.

The major goals will include defining the set of user/customer scenarios for automation in order to ensure that various products are tested as a solution in the way customers will utilize them considering interactions between external systems, 3rd party products, etc.

Core Actions / Area of Responsibility

Develop/Maintain and use test automation tools and harnesses.
Automated Smoke/Regression suite execution support on nightly builds.
Responsible for testing and quality of AMI based product offering.
Ability to develop or enhance automation framework and implement for UI, DB, and API.
Understanding of overall QA life-cycle and agile methodology.
Design and implement test cases in a rapid prototyping environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
Participate actively in all requirements, design, and architectural activities.
Troubleshoot issues and work with the team to design and develop solutions.
Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
Create and manage test environments which involve the configuration of hardware and software.

Experience
Professional experience

Intermediate to expert experience in software test automation utilizing keyword or POM automation frameworks.
Good understanding of system and software testing methodologies, writing defects, etc.
Proficiency in Python or Selenium languages to customize automation framework, if necessary.
Experience with Oracle and/or SQL databases.
Project experience
Track record of participating in large, multi-site projects successfully, a plus
Leadership experience

Experience of working in multi-site and multi-culture teams

Educational / Additional Qualification
You hold a Bachelor or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

You have 2-6 years' of experience in Software Automation testing in executing customer solution deliveries via automation-driven solutions, solution-driven architecture, requirement, and use case development in customer and R&D development projects.

Experience in complex customer solutions projects is an advantage. As a person you are customer-oriented and have good multicultural working skills. In negotiations you are goal-oriented and are able to represent your company. You are willing to travel and work in an international environment. You have fluent communication skills.
