Communications Specialist responsibilities include:

Streamlining the Corporate Messaging for the Company

Strategizing the effective communication of the messaging along with tools

Mapping of Tools of communication as per the targeted audience

Managing internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)

Proactively securing media interaction opportunities with the agency

Drafting content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website communications specialist

Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences

Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.

Maintaining a regular channel of communication with Internal stakeholders (as per a defined calendar)

Maintinaing of Media relationsips National & regional

Creation & updation of Media Engagament Policy

Creation of a Crisis Management Document

Crisis Management

Requisites:

Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills make a strong communications specialist.

Experience in corporate communications and project management

Great Presentation Skills

Experience in Web Design is a plus

Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset

Planning & Organisation skills

Team Management Experience

BSc/BA in public relations, communications or relevant field

10-12 years of relevant Work Experience
