Technical/Professional Skills:Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.Is able to work in shifts Should be a good team playerMajor Job Responsibilities:Issuing Work permits and monitoring the permit check points implementation.Planning and conducting an internal inspection in the plant to ensure work environment safety.Plant rounding to identify Safety deviations/violations in Work Activity.Monitoring the Critical Raw materials handlingInvestigating the Route cause/s behind the near-miss/ incidents and providing necessary controls to mitigate the risk.Procurement of safety Equipment, instruments & PPE through Purchase order.Preparation of the monthly reports and weekly reports.Preparation of Department Environmental Impact AssessmentConducting calendar Training for Regular & Contract employees.Conducting Shop floor training to the bottom level employees.Safety equipment inspections based on the schedules.IMS files updating as per schedule.Monitoring of MEE and ETP plants.Maintenance and servicing of fire equipment.Business Outcomes Expected:Zero Accident and IncidencesAchievement of OTIF as plannedAdherence of Quality NormsAdherence of EHS regulationsSafety Champion
