Job Summary

If you are a 'Software Developer' looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Pune, India location, you will be a member of a Flow Controls UI Software group. As a Software Engineer you will design, analyze, and build software applications for Industrial Automation products and technologies. You'll be employed for Emerson Innovation Centre, Pune (EICP)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Contribute to migrate 3D models and drawings from old PLM to Windchill
  • Review and consolidate 3D models of multiple product with proper naming convention and parameters
  • Understand the relations ship between various .drw, .asm, .prt files and their parametric relationship.
  • Improvise the CAD models with use of Family tables, Simplified representation, Skeleton modelling.
  • Convert 2D drawings to Creo drawing when ever needed.
  • Use Creo 3.0 or latest version for 3D modelling and drawings
  • Use AutoCAD for drawings and products general layouts
  • Communicate day-to-day work with technical leads, and project leads.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • BE/B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
  • 3+ years' experience in product design and development of industrial products.
  • Should have hands on experience in Creo, AutoCAD, Bill of material (BOM) preparation and release through Oracle or any PDM system.
  • Should have good understanding of Creo parameters, Family tables, Simplified representation, Skeleton modelling, and assembly family trees.
  • Should have experience in working on Windchill and understanding of relationships between CAD Entities, Parts, Models and drawings.
