Job Description:

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience with 2+ years of software development, integration, and/or testing using C or C++.
  • Familiarity with automotive in-vehicle software applications such as Instrument Clusters, Android applications, Streaming Services, Navigation Services, Vehicle Services, Voice Services, and firmware over the air (FOTA) including UDS, CAN, Ethernet, OMA DM protocol

Diagnostic experience:
CANoe, UDS

  • Proficient in GIT, JIRA, and IBM tools
  • Understanding of defect management and software development cycle
  • Knowledge of JAVA, Python, and Linux
  • Strong desire to learn and stay motivated
  • Proficiency in rapid prototyping and board bring-up
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces like CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB, SOME IP
  • Demonstrates initiative, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment, with good software documentation practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with application software developers, vehicle integration, and validation engineering teams.
Ways to Stand out Above the Rest

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment
  • Experience with continuous integration systems, ALM tools, and script automation
  • Familiarity with Ethernet networking protocols such as 802.3, 802.1AS, TSN, and related transport layer formats
  • Experience with industry cryptographic protocols, key management, chain of trust processing, and anti-spoofing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with various CPU architectures, microcontrollers, and microprocessors
  • Understanding of Automotive Product Development Processes like ASPICE and V-model
  • Experience in power management, board diagnostics, fault management, or failure modes
  • Proficiency in embedded target platform services like diagnostics, logging & Tracing, client-server & other IPC mechanisms, industry benchmarks, and their application to performance KPI measurement and competitive analyses
  • Experience with platform services such as power management, state management, health management, and reset handlers
  • Familiarity with Test automation & unit test frameworks
  • Experience with automated build and test systems
  • Ability to engage with Tier I and Tier II automotive suppliers and partners

Must have skills

dSPace, HIL, Matlab(Plant Modelling),

Automotive HIL experience (test bench design, setup, and maintenance)

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for testing vehicle smart cockpit software, collaborating closely with other teams involved in developing base software, application software, integration and test platform, and continuous integration (CI) platform.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and testing embedded software for automotive infotainment applications. The role requires prior experience in embedded software development and testing, as well as familiarity with Linux (preferably QNX) and Android.

We expect the individual to have a keen interest in learning and contributing to cutting-edge automotive computational technologies.
