  • To Handle core commodity like. Steel Castings, Forgings and Manufactured product (Valves, Buy outs).
  • Timely issuance of POs to Vendors, follow-up for order confirmation and co-ordination for on time payment to suppliers.
  • Coordinating with vendors for actual status of material for open orders and ensure to dispatch on time.
  • On time completion of Open Purchase Orders and Shortage Report for review
  • To implement core procurement processes efficiently and accurately for assigned products.
  • To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned, validated through procurement metrics.
  • Coordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes.
  • Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes
  • Need to Send weekly shipment list to all suppliers and follow-ups for weekly shipments
  • Provide resolution for receiving challenges.
  • Need to provide resolution for invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment for suppliers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Sessional professional experience in Supply chain
  • 3 to 6 years of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement & Project management experience, Commodity buyer background
  • Excellent in communication skills (English at conversational level required)
  • Speaking Hindi is an additional advantage
  • Excellent in gets results and analytical skills
  • Procurement skills e.g., category management, supplier management, Strategic sourcing, negotiations, and benchmarking.
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Ability to build good relationship with suppliers / internal customers
  • Hold the ability to run multiple projects parallelly and having a strategic mind-set
  • Brings an external focus to work, by being constantly updated on developments and innovations in the external world
  • Desire and ability to take full ownership of end to end procurement and produce high quality work
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
