About an Opportunity:
For our Data Science and Analytics Practice, we are looking for dynamic engineers with good experience.

As a DevOps engineer, you will help the organizations to manage the development, tools deployment, integrated testing, and assistance with increased productivity and speed.

At the same time, you will bring the critical elements of continuous integration and continuous deployment to the DevOps engineers sole responsibility.


Purpose:

DevOps Engineer with a proven track record, to drive the configuration management systems (Issue tracking, SCM, Build, CI/CD, etc.) across an Engineering org that will scale to support thousands of plants, in what will become the largest manufacturing optimization system the world has ever known.

Essential Duties and Key Competencies:
A certified DevOps engineer professional (AWS)
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
Provide support to Engineering teams in configuring and base-lining software projects.
Prepare configuration documentation and maintain Configuration Management (CM) tools.
Review and recommend improvements to existing CM processes.
Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of CM tools.
Schedule audits on CM tools and assists in implementing audit recommendations.
Develop security guidelines to avoid unauthorized damage or usage
Work with engineering teams in the development and enhancement of CM tools.
Assist in the management, maintenance, and automating of CM tools.
Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables.
Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
Researching new technologies and identifying which could be used and how
Experience with configuration management tools, issue tracking systems, source control, CI/CD, etc.
Experience in implementing processes like defect management, support process, and development processes
Experience managing Jira and other Atlassian products
Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
Excellent troubleshooting
Advanced CI and DevOps technologies Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
Experiences with Cloud Microservices architecture (AWS)
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
Familiarity with agile software development in Go, C/C , Java, JavaScript
Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins
Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python
Ready to relocate as per the clients requirement, be it on-site or off-site or travelling/site visit as per needed
Well versed in AWS IAAS and PAAS management
Strong Networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Switching, Routing)
Virtualization VMware, Hyper-V
Collaborate / work closely with Service Delivery Team & Marketing team
Successful track record in leading and delivering projects, large programs, applications across companies and domains
Configuration Management either Ansible
Source Control Systems Git
Infrastructure as Code Terraform
Scripting skills PowerShell, Bash, Python
Code Pipeline
Containerization, Containerization Orchestration
Virtualization Technologies ideally one of the following: Windows Server, Linux Server (Cent OS)
Results oriented leadership and management skills with strong communication, people management and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, quick learner, experience in working in multi-cultural environment across different geographies
Autonomy in problem identification and problem breakdown: Independently identify problems to be solved in the team / sub-area as a result of in-depth technical and business understanding
Understand vague and broad problems and break them down into actionable sub-problems and tasks

Stakeholder Management:
Identify new project opportunities as a result of a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and pain points. Suggest ideas for improving the service to stakeholders

Effectively communicate orally and in writing to a technical and non-technical audience

Apply data strategies relevant to the business entity / enabler area

Education/Skills/Experience:
Bachelors Engineering degree in Computers/Electronics/IT/Chemical/Mechanical or Msc. in Statistic with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
