Java Senior Full stack developer

As a Java Developer you will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Transaction platforms as a member of an agile scrum team. What you will be responsible for:

As Full Stack Developer/Lead you will

• Design, Develop, Test, and Validate application solutions using Java for Finance platforms based on the business requirements
• Development of Java backend especially in Core JAVA, MQ, Kafka,ReactJS,HTML5,REST API
• Sound fundamentals in Java, design patterns, requirement understanding, unit-testing.
• Should possess a strong working experience in Java Architecture, development, related SDLC processes, excellent JEE, messaging (MQ) and database knowledge.
• Sound knowledge/experience on PL/SQL and SQL programming to an extent to carry out the necessary Application development and integration work.
• Work on critical Development, Support and enhancement requests, and ensure the availability, accessibility and accuracy of the data delivered from these platforms.
• Issue debugging, investigate application related issues, handle and respond to critical application related support issues raised by the business with appropriate fix or technical resolution within a short span of time.
• Understanding the business requirements and converting to the technical requirements
• Review and guide the deliverables of the junior developers in the team.
• Provide plans and estimation of the development tasks assigned
• Communicate effectively within the team and with business colleagues to carry out project related tasks smoothly in a coordinated approach.
• Should exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving skills and aptitude to work in a complex and challenging work environment.
• Knowledge and experience of microservices architecture and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Implement unit test automation using Junit, Karma or Mocha or similar tools
• Design and code applications for cloud, leveraging Cloud native architecture principles and technologies
• Work with infrastructure and other related teams to ensure deployment and operationalization of cloud applications.
• Quickly evaluate various technologies and complete POC driving architecture design for the applications
• Work in complex environment with multi location teams.
• Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
• Experience in DevOPS is a plus with hands on experience in Jenkins, Git and any one artifactory tool.

• 6+ Years Development of Backend and web application using Java
• 5+ Years Exp in Core Java/ J2EE
• 3+ Years Exp in SQL/ PLSQL (Prefer Oracle database)
• 3+ Years Exp in MQ (Middle Tier) , Kafka (Service to Service communication)
• 3+ Years Exp in Javascript or any other javascript based web technology
• Very good knowledge of Java, Restful webservices, Springboot, React js and Database
• Having hands on and design experience in Springboot, Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes technologies is a plus.
• Experience in implementing Microservices is a plus
• Ability to suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends.
• Work closely with product owner to deeply understand the requirement and translate into scalable and forward looking design.
• Define CI/CD model that ensures entire Agile team performs continuous integration between front-end and back-end constantly and instantly via API co-creation, tech discussion, co-debugging/fixing, and continuous deployment in Dev/UAT/Prod environments.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or closely related subject.
• 10+ years of experience in application design, development and support of large enterprise Web applications
• Very good knowledge of Java, Restful webservices, Springboot, React js and Database.
• Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting aspects.
• Understanding of data security and data access controls and design aspects
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.
