Scopely is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join The Looney Tunes team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis

What You'll Do

  • Translate visual concepts created by the art direction into the engine
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize rendering and meet the needs of each platform
  • Define and oversee techniques and workflows to guide the work of artists and programmers
  • Suggest visual concepts and provide technical implementation solutions
  • Establish optimization techniques to ensure graphical performance on all respective platforms
  • Enhance repetitive processes through automation or by creating more efficient workflows
  • Serve as a reference and support the training and guidance of less experienced team members

What We're Looking For

  • At least 6 years of official experience as a technical artist, preferably with a minimum of 3 launched titles in this role or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to make assertive decisions that positively impact the final results of delivered projects
  • Mastery of main engines, rendering pipelines, and optimization techniques
  • Expertise in shader and material creation languages, various 3D software applications, and artistic concepts such as color, shapes, and movement
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language and texture creation software
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design
  • Ability to effectively navigate between artists and programmers, adapting as needed
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D art production or programming
  • Proficiency in handling the technical aspects of game creation
